Kaianna - 6 Months Old

We have had an amazing and wonderful Holiday Season! We had a very special weekend visit from Grandma & Grandpa Bendel and Grandma Novinger. We celebrated Grandma Novinger's 92nd Birthday, we went to the Santa Barbara Christmas Parade, the Santa Barbara Zoo, and went to Kaianna's Baby Dedication Ceremony at Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara!

Kaianna started eating rice cereal this month and is still trying to figure out what she is supposed to do with it!

The Villasenor Family joined us for a visit to see Santa Claus. Kaianna and Baby Lucas loved meeting Santa for the 1st time ever!

We celebrated Dana's 31st Birthday in Santa Barbara, celebrated Christmas with Ruben's Family at our house in Santa Barbara, and then headed to San Diego for Christmas Celebrations with Dana's Family! We also visited the Hotel Del Coronado to view the most beautiful Christmas Tree!

Kaianna is growing more and more every day and continues to bless our lives more than we ever could have ever imagined! We loved celebrating Kaianna's very 1st Christmas together with our families. Kaianna loved all of the Christmas lights and decorations. We wish all of our loved ones a very Happy New Year! May the Lord bless you all in the months ahead!

Kaianna - 5 Months Old

We have had yet another busy month! Kaianna continues to bless us in so many ways. She is doing great and keeps us smiling more and more each day! It's hard to believe that she is already 5 months old!

Kaianna & Dana took a trip to San Diego to visit with family and friends. It was another great trip and Kaianna enjoyed every minute with her growing family!

Sadly, we all headed to Klamath Falls, Oregon, for the funeral of Dana's childhood friend, Hillary's, dear father Jim. Jim was an amazing husband, father, and friend. We will miss him tremendously. It was with great saddness that we went to Oregon, but it was a blessing to spend time with Hillary and her Mother, Sandy. Grandpa Green & Uncle Ramsey met us in Klamath to celebrate Jim's life. We are keeping the Lake family in our thoughts and prayers every day.

We spent Thanksgiving at Ruben's parents house in Templeton and we shared an amazing Thanksgiving Dinner with Ruben's parents, Grandma Alice and her husband Martin, and Ruben's brother Santos, sister-in-law Norma, & nephew Vincent. It was a relaxing and special Thanksgiving. Kaianna loved every bite! Just kidding...she still doesn't eat solids yet!

As soon as Thanksgiving past, we started dressing Kaianna up in her Christmas outfits! She already loves Christmas as much as her parents! We have been reading her lots of special Christmas books about Baby Jesus. We also went to Lane Farms to pick out our Christmas Tree! We looked at lots of BIG trees and settled on the perfect tree for our home! We enjoyed decorating with our baby girl!

During this special time of year, we are thinking about all of our family and friends and we are so thankful for all of the very special people in our lives. We are so thankful for our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, and for all of the many blessings He has bestowed upon our family. We wish you all the very best during this wonderful time of year!
