Kaianna - 12 Months Old

The highlight of June was our family summer vacation! We drove to Northern California, stopped at Lake Shasta and Ashland, Oregon for a visit, and continued on our way to Euguene, Oregon! We attended our friend Hillary's Graduation from the U of O! Hillary received her P.H.D. in Communications & Society. We had a wonderful celebration at a local winery! We are so incredibly proud of Hillary, who is now a news anchor in Medford, Oregon!
On our way back to California, we traveled down the Oregon Coast and camped at Sunset Bay, Oregon. It was absolutely beautiful! Freezing cold, but beautiful! We camped in a tent and we even took Kaianna hiking in a backpack! We then traveled south towards California, drove through the amazing California Redwoods, and then we camped at Patrick's Point, which was again, absolutely beautiful! Kaianna loved sleeping in the tent, campfires, and flashlights! From Patrick's Point we traveled east to Trinity Lake, where we stayed in a cabin at the KOA Campgrounds and Ruben and I celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary! Trinity Lake was gorgeous!
Our final destination was Napa, California, where we attended our friends Kelly & James' wedding! What a spectaular event! We had dinner in a wine cave, went wine tasting, and attended an absolutely beautiful wedding ceremony in the Napa Valley! It was an extraordinary event!
Kaianna truly was an amazing travel companion! She loved our vacation and we loved vacationing with her! She is getting closer to crawling every day and she has even learned to pull herself up once in a while! She is also getting her two bottom teeth! We love and adore her more and more with each passing moment!
